Faith Spoken, Faith Sung

2017 is the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation. On 31 October 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg in Germany. That action started a chain of events which shaped the course of the church and the course of Western civilization, in a way that is still significant today.

Events at St Paul's associated with the reformation commemorations come under the banner of Faith Spoken. Each Faith Sung. Faith Spoken, Faith Sung event will include:
• A traditional Reformation hymn and two organ works by a Wellington organist on the St Pauls Flentrop organ
• A presentation on one aspect of the Reformation delivered by an ecumenical panel of speakers
• Discussion between audience and speaker
• Refreshments
